From 8 to 11 October 2024, we will be presenting our new bridge axes and cantilever axes, specially designed for heavy-duty applications, at the Motek trade fair in Stuttgart for the first time. The highlight at our stand 7301 in hall 7 this year: an interactive model in which the new heavy-duty axes interact with a wide range of different drive types..

Longer, heavier, stronger: thanks to their closed aluminium profile, bridge axes are particularly resistant to torsion and bending and are sized for maximum moment loads. Depending on the application requirements, we manufacture the heavy-duty axes in Offenburg with either a toothed belt, linear motor or rack and pinion drive. With travel speeds of up to 5 m/s and load capacities of 350 kg handling weight, the bridge axes achieve repeatability of up to ± 0.005 mm.

The cantilever axes are also impressive: the high rigidity of the cantilever and the low moving mass make the linear axes particularly suitable for dynamic applications with high loads in vertical applications. The closed aluminium profile gives the cantilever high torsional rigidity despite its low weight. Like all our linear axes, the new bridge axes and cantilever axes can also be individually configured here.
